Paw Wipes have similar ingredients to our Paw Soother Balm, but provides a cleaner application and is intended to clean the paw pads and in between toes while also nourishing and hydrating.
These single use wipes are great for an owner that wants to easily clean and moisturize puppy paws and toes without having to create additional mess with a balm.
This product allows for a set amount of product to be used without worrying about over or under applying. Additionally, this product won’t melt when the temperature gets higher like our balms do, so it’s more stable under all storage conditions.
There are 50 round wipes per container. The inner seal on each screw-top jar prevents them from drying out.
Full Ingredients List: Water, Polysorbate 20, Glycerin, Decyl Glucoside, Mango Butter, Coconut Oil, Cajeput Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide, 1,2 Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Citrate
Should I use these or the balms?
We recommend using the Paw wipes for cleansing the paws and the Paw Soother for moisturizing afterwards. You can use either one, or you can use them both in tandem for extra support where your dog needs it.
How do I decide between the wipes and the balms?
This mostly comes down to preferred application method - some people feel more confident that the balms stay on the skin longer, other people prefer the cleaner application method that you get with the wipes. Generally speaking, the wipes are better for cleansing, and the balms are better for moisturizing.
How many paw wipes should I use at a time?
It depends on the size of your dog and how dirty their paws are. Some people prefer to use an individual wipe for each paw, other pet parents can get away with one single wipe for all four paws. It really depends on the dog!
How long will a jar last me?
Our wipes don’t have an expiration date, so as long as you keep the lid on the jar between uses and store in a cool, dry place, they should stay moist for several months to a year, if not longer.
How often should I use these wipes?
It depends on how dirty or irritated your dog’s paws are - we recommend once twice daily or as often as your dog needs it.
My dog always licks the product off, is that ok?
Paw wipes are made with natural, non toxic ingredients, so it’s perfectly safe to be ingested! However, we recommend distracting your dog with a treat after application to make sure the product can soak in.
